Colua means the hill behind the house .
A' Ca' dàa Còlua may be translated into "the house at the hillslope".
The situation has changed since the name was assigned to the house:
what today is the main street, the main path of this village,
was formerly the deep-cut valley of a small river, the torrente Groppo.
Its strenght could on occasioneven drive a mill. The wheel of the mill has survived the
covering of the river by the current road.

The apartment, newly renovated, consists of a big living room, a kitchen, fully equipped
and a bathroom, with shower and washingmachine ,as well as a bedroom
with a comfortable double bed, and a balcony.

The living room contains a pull-outcouch, which can accommodate two people.

The house is located about 100 meters above the pedestrian tunnel to the railway station, on the way to the ancient church of San Lorenzo. Distance to the sea is 5 minutes on foot.
A little further up the hill is the end of the road (with limited parking).

Washing machine, autonomous central heating, cable TV.
